All you do is advertise products and services that others offer and in return they will send you a commission. When you sign up for an affiliate program you will be given a link to use and they will supply you will banners and buttons as well as ads, blog posts, and/or articles to use in your advertising.

You can add buttons to the side of your blog, you can add the blog posts to your blog, or you can write your own. Just make sure you use your affiliate link when you use these types of things because you don’t want to lose out on sales.

Pay per Post is another option. There are positive and negative points with this one. With Pay per Post, you make posts based on topics that they provide. If your post is approved, you will make the money they offer, which is usually between $5 and $15, but could be higher.

Now the downside to Pay per Post is the topics may not have anything to do with your blog or what you like to write about. You may like to write about your family life and how you balance family and your business and you may have to write a post about an autoresponder or boots. If this won’t bother you, then Pay per Post may be the way to go.

• Your own products or services

There is nothing wrong with adding buttons for your own products or services to your blog. You can write blog posts about how your products or services will help your readers or write posts that contain tips about how your products or services can help prevent something from happening. You can also highlight a product or service every week or month in your blog. Make sure you add pictures when you can and use direct links whenever possible.

• Google Adsense

You can add Google Adsense to the top or side of your blog and make money from each click. Google will supply you with code that you can use to add it to your blog with ease. You supply keywords based on your site and Google will post ads that are in line with what you write about. This option is slow at first, but you can make pretty good money after a time.
